Speaker David Gorchov

Professor David Gorchov's current research focuses on the invasion of forests by exotic plant species, specifically interactions between invasive shrubs such as Amur honeysuckle and overabundant white-tailed deer. He will speak to us about his research into the white-tailed deer population's effect on woodlands in the Miami Natural Areas. Dr. Gorchov’s current research projects are in Ohio, although past projects were carried out in Maryland, Mexico, and Peru.

The program starts at 7:30 pm and will be held in person at LCNB Bank, 2nd Floor Community Room, 30 West Park Place, Oxford. There is an elevator to the 2nd floor at the Uptown Park entrance. This program will not be streamed digitally.
